ABOUT

I am a 2005 graduate of Columbus State Community College with an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology. I was a Registered Veterinary Technician that worked emergency and critical care until I was no longer able, due to multiple disabilities.  My CE focus was Behavior and Training.
I am an AKC Canine Good Citizen, Trick Dog and S.T.A.R Puppy Evaluator. As well as an AKC Coursing Ability Test, Farm Dog Certified and American Temperament Test Judge.
I have trained and titled dogs in a variety of events in multiple venues including AKC Rally, Obedience, Agility, Scent Work, CAT, Fast CAT, CGC/CGCA/CGCU, TDN/TDI/TDA/TDP/TDE, ATT, FDC; Barn Hunt Association thru RATO; American Temperament Test Society TT, etc.
I did Doberman rescue for years and on top of fostering, I had eight rescued Doberman of my own from 2006-2020.
I have co-bred several litters of Pyrenean Shepherds and raised even more before splitting with my then mentor. That is when the Nuit Etoilee kennel name was born.
One of the dogs I co-bred is GCHS CH La Brise Man O War, who won the 2021 PSCA National Speciality and is only the third Pyr Shep to get an AKC Best in Show!
I have his littermate Tux, CH La Brise Black Tie Affair De La Nuit Etoillee (Pictured).
I have also co-bred and co-owned Standard Schnauzers with my good friend Diane Mitchell of Dinamyt Schnauzers.

I have owner trained my own Service Dogs since 2004. My first in home SD, Pixie, was a toy Poodle. She was my first purebred. The dog that got me into training and the reason I went to vet tech school. She is also the first dog I "titled". Although, back then, the CGC was not an official title, just a certificate.
Farrah was a three year old Doberman when I met and adopted her. She was my first AKC Rally, Obedience and Agility dog. She was my SD from 2007-2014.
Camo, an 8 year old Beauceron, is my current SD. She was my first AKC Conformation dog.
I live in north east Ohio, not far from Pennsylvania, on a small farm that has been in my family for five generations.
I also have goats, chickens, ducks, geese, guineas, a sheep and two pet pigs.
